In the summer of 2002, Fei held a 3-month old baby panda at the Giant Panda Breeding Research Base in Chengdu, Sichuan Province (Central China).
When Fei was 12 years old she led a children’s choir at the democracy rallies in Tiananmen Square, later hearing the gunfire from her home a few kilometres away.
Fei loves her cat, Mimi, more than anything in the world. Fei trained her to stand, turn, lay, roll over, and shake, when Mimi was a kitten.
On a sacred mountain in central China, Fei saw a woman get attacked by wild baboons from a distance of about 10 metres.
